Mara Lobão - CEO and Founder
Member of the International Academy of Television, Arts & Science, Mara founded the independent production company PANORÂMICA, based in Rio de Janeiro, in 2003 where she was responsible for the creation, development, fundraising and executive production of over 50 projects for TV, cinema and streaming. Mara created and produced, GABY ESTRELLA, 126 x 26’, a successful live action kid’s show nominated for the Emmy Kids Awards, the BANFF Awards and APCA Awards. The series was coproduced with Gloob and Chatrone, and sold for Italy, Israel, Portugal and Africa. It also has numerous licensed products such as CD, games, dolls, school and party supplies. Mara also produced the spin off GABY ESTRELLA: THE MOVIE (2018); and other kids movies – TUDO POR UM POP STAR (2018/1,2 million views), based in the book by Thalita Rebouças, CINDERELLA POP (2019), based in the book by Paula Pimenta. Internationally known as DJ CINDERELA, the movie was released in Netflix in all the territories and had a great performance in multiple countries. Thalita and Paula are the best sellers of kids and teen books in Brazil. In 2020 Mara produced the teen movie CONFESSIONS OF AN EXCLUDED GIRL for Netflix.
Mara also produces high quality drama/action series such as NO RETURN, 13 x 46’ for TV Record and A&E, internationally distributed by Armoza Formats, the police drama TRAILS OF HATE, 18 x 46’, for NBCU Distribution, aired at Universal Channel and FOX Premium, The investigative/drama THE ABSENTEES, 10 x 46’, for HBO MAX. On the non-fiction field, Mara produced successful international formats in Brazil such as INTERVENTION BRAZIL, for A&E, and CATFISH BRAZIL, for MTV/Viacom, among many other originally Brazilian shows.
Additionally, created the Globosat’s Writing Development Program in 2014 and 2015. The project trained more than 400 Brazilian TV professionals and brought top tier talents such as Martha Kauffman (Friends), Anthony Zuicker (CSI), Darren Starr (Sex and the City), Dan Halstead (Manage-ment), and the master of writing Robert Mckee with his world prominent seminars STORY and GENRE.
Mara is currently developing and producing films and series for players like Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Warner, Discovery and Globo.
Rodrigo Montenegro - CEO and Founder
Rodrigo has been operating in the audiovisual market since 1992. In 1997, he was Assistant Director of Futura Channel and he participated in the creation and direction of the channel’s premiere projects. From 1999 on, he was a Core Coordinator of Futura Channel, where he worked in the direction and coordination of series such as Tunning Languages, Cine Conhecimento, Cine Profissões, Faixa Comentada, Umas Palavras, and Um Pé de Quê?. In 2003, he founded Panorâmica with his business partner, Mara Lobão. Vanessa Jardim - Production Manager
Vanessa is an Advertising professional and radio broadcaster, with a degree form Universidade Federal Fluminense. She has solid experience in audiovisual projects management. Vanessa worked from 1988 to 1989 as a production assistant for TV Bandeirantes Dramaturgy Core, headed by Walter Avancini. From 1989 to 1991, she was a production assistant at TV Manchete Opening Credits and Vignettes department, headed by Adolfo Rosenthal and Toni Cid. From 1991 to 1999, she has worked as Base Coordinator and Program Coordinator at TV Globo, participating in the production of soap operas, mini-series, weekly variety and special programs line headed by TV directors Roberto Talma and Guel Arraes. From 1999 to 2008, she was Production Coordinator at Fundação Roberto Marinho. In 2008, she became Futura channel’s Production Manager, where she worked until January 2016.
Joana Macedo - Project Executive
An experienced professional, working for 23 years in the audiovisual market. Has extensive knowledge in content development, research, acquisition, and sales.
In 1998, she worked as Content Coordinator at Synapse Produções, in the research, negotiation, acquisition and sale of national and international content area. In 2008, she started at Multishow, Bis, and Off channels, in the Content and Programming area, where she conducted research and evaluation of international content, in addition to strategic programing planning, and then, as Media Coordinator, she worked on media/breaks strategic planning. In 2012, she joined the Gloob and Gloobinho team, where she did research, evaluation, and acquisition of international content, strategic programming planning, budget control, and post-production, as well as negotiation and sales of Gloob content to international clients. In 2017, already on GNT, Mais Globosat, and Viva channels, she worked on planning and preparing content for VOD.
Since September 2018, Joana works at Panorâmica as a Project Executive. There, she works on the production company’s projects research and development, she monitors and manages script production, in addition to prospecting and serving customers / players.
